Wellington Frocktails 2022 Announced
Wellingtonians, you lucky things! Us Aucklanders haven’t had the 2021 Frocktails yet and you are getting another already. So much fun!
Wellington Sewcialists and Rosie Fresken are hosting a Frocktail event on 19th November 2022 at 7pm – plenty of time to plan your frocks!
Frocktails is a cocktail party for the sewing community to connect in person. It gives you a chance to dress up, connect with other like-minded makers and have a night out to show off a garment or accessory that you have made.
You’ll get to spend a weekend in Wellington, connecting with like-minded creatives. The event this year is being held at the Whistling Sisters Beer Co, 100 Taranaki Street, Wellington.
Sewists of all levels are welcome to this event. Along with the main Frocktails event, there will be an optional brunch on Sunday morning with visits to fabric stores. There will be prizes, goodie bags and more importantly, an opportunity for us to dress up and make new sewing friends! Open to all ages and genders this is a night to bust out the sequins and paint the town red.
