NZ Frocktails Event – 24th July 2021
Wellingtonians, you lucky things! Wellington Sewcialists are hosting a Frocktail event on 24th July 2021.
Frocktails is a cocktail party for the sewing community to connect in person. It gives you a chance to dress up, connect with other like-minded makers and have a night out to show off a garment or accessory that you have made.
You’ll get to spend a weekend in Wellington, connecting with like-minded creatives. The venue Naumi Hotel is located centrally in Cuba Street and is a visual delight. The bar is hired as well as the connecting green room for the event. The event will bring together the creative community, build connections and fosters creativity.
Sewists of all levels are welcome to this event. Along with the main Frocktails event, there will be an optional brunch on Sunday morning with visits to fabric stores. There will be prizes, goodie bags and more importantly, an opportunity for us to dress up and make new sewing friends! Open to all ages and genders this is a night to bust out the sequins and paint the town red.
